Belleayre, Gore, Whiteface, and Mt Van Hoevenberg Extend Their Seasons

New York State’s Olympic Regional Development Authority (ORDA) announces exciting additions to its schedules for spring skiing at Belleayre Mountain, Gore Mountain, Mt Van Hoevenberg, and Whiteface Mountain.

Belleayre Mountain

When: Open Friday, April 22.

What: Terrain for experts only, rentals will not be available. One lift will be operating, and five trails will be open.

Tickets: Tickets are $30 for the day for all ages and are not available online in advance. Tickets may be purchased on arrival at the windows.

Gore Mountain

When: Open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, April 22, 23, and 24.

What: Terrain for intermediate and expert abilities.

Tickets: Adult tickets are just $50 per day. Teens and seniors are $40 per day. Juniors and ages 70+ are $30 per day. Tickets are available online in advance, or guests may purchase them on arrival at the windows.

Whiteface Mountain

When: Open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, April 22, 23, and 24.

What: Terrain for intermediate and expert abilities.

Tickets: Adult tickets are just $50 per day. Teens and seniors are $40 per day. Juniors and ages 70+ are $30 per day. Six and under are $10 per day. Guests may purchase tickets online in advance, or at the windows on arrival.

Mt Van Hoevenberg

When: Open Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, April 21, 22, and 23.

What: The Nordic Center and Flats Legacy trails will be open, offering a total of 12 km of cross-country skiing. In addition, inside the Mountain Pass Lodge, the new Climbing Center, the 81-18 Café, Henry’s Tavern, and the Swix Store will be open through Sunday. Rentals and lessons will not be available.

Tickets: Trail passes are available for purchase online or at Mt Van Hoevenberg. This weekend only, passes are just $15 per day for ages seven and up. Six and under are $5 per day.

Season Passes

Guests can ski free this weekend with the purchase of next year’s 2022/23 season pass. ORDA’s SKI3 Season Pass includes Gore, Belleayre, and Whiteface.

Season passes are also available at Mt Van Hoevenberg. Season passes at Mt Van Hoevenberg include two sessions through May at their Mountain Pass Lodge’s new Climbing Center.

Additional Notes

Spring skiing involves variable conditions with areas of thin cover and bare spots. Guests are encouraged to enjoy the late season skiing with care.  Beginner terrain is not available, please see snow reports for details and additional information.

The above dates at all venues are subject to change based on weather and snow conditions. Closing dates for the season are not yet determined. Check venue websites for updates.
