USA Para-Nordic Training
Overview
U.S. Paralympics Nordic Skiing provides opportunities for athletes with disabilities to experience the winter sports of cross-country skiing and biathlon, with the ultimate goal of winning medals at the Paralympic Games every four years. This upcoming week, National Team athletes are training in Lake Placid, top stars in the sport who have represented the USA in the Olympics and are gunning for Beijing 2022 (pardon the pun)!
Schedule to Watch
Augusts 11-23, 2021
When watching athlete training, we ask that you safely watch them, don’t cross barriers, and let athletes approach you, rather than you approaching them. The viewing area for biathlon training is the bridge in front of the lodge, or to the right by the RFID gate also in front of the lodge. We also ask that you please do not walk across the roller loops for the safety of you and the athletes that are training.
